A spacious square with a Second Empire fountain and all the conviviality of the South: you have arrived at Bordeaux′s Parliament Square. The classical, almost square architecture is surrounded by fine, regular walls, with stone mascarons at the windows of the upper storeys. In the centre, a 19th century fountain by Louis Garros. Unfinished in Tourny′s day, beautiful Louis XV mansions were added in the XIXth century, all so alike that they confer a feeling of unity worthy of a stage set.

The area is reputedly one the liveliest culinary places in Bordeaux where you’ll find something to satisfy every palate and pocket.
