Aegis Shanghai is a premium men’s boutique based in the heart of China, offering a unique selection of the very best contemporary designers and casual luxe labels covering clothing, shoes, and accessories.

The boutique was launched in May of 2010, stocking some of the most sought-after men’s labels such as Rag & Bone, Band of Outsiders, Opening Ceremony, Common Projects, Wings + Horns, Shipley & Halmos, Steven Alan, and Billy Kirk among many others. Aegis seeks to provide goods of the highest quality, craftsmanship, and cutting for today’s modern man, with styles ranging from classic silhouettes to more fashion-forward pieces.

Sitting near the corner of Julu Road and Fumin Road, there’s a wealth of great restaurants and bars around Aegis. There’s the famous hotpot restaurant - Hui Ge - a couple doors down from us on Julu Road (and a good place to catch local celebs eating). Well-known Japanese restaurant Shintori Null and its bar, People 7 are also on Julu Road, just across the Fumin Road intersection. There’s Pho Real and B Real (pho and banh mi joints), a hugely popular Vietnamese chain that is packed with people on Fumin Road. Not much further down, on the corner of Fumin Road and Changle Road you’ll hit Cantina Agave, the perenniel hotspot of Cali-mex dining and watering hole for the city’s expats.

Aegis Shanghai is located in Jing’An district, sitting just on the border of the French Concession, pretty much in most central area of Puxi, Shanghai.

We are about a 5 minute walk from the Line 2 / Line 9 metro station at Jing’An Temple and a 15 minute walk from the Line 1 metro station on Shanxi Road. Or you could hop on a cab (starting at 14 CNY, still relatively cheap compared to the rest of the world.. as well as the price of other services / products in Shanghai). If you need directions, you can always call the store and someone will be very happy to help you navigate your way through this crazy city!
